I’m a forty-something wife to Stan and mother of one, the fabulous ultra girly “Babydoll”. I have multiple jobs – I repeat MULTIPLE jobs. I’m striving to be the best wife and mother taking care of my household is my first job, I work part-time in R & D at a Diagnostics company, I am a licensed cosmetologist (with a shop set-up in our basement), and also have a catering company (Red Oven Creations – hence the name) that I’m diligently working to build so that I use my passion to be a full-time career.
I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my family, cooking, entertaining, shoes (especially heels over 3-inches), reading, MAC Cosmetics, finding the best bargain, remodeling furniture and decorating on a budget.
This blog was started as a way for me to talk about my life: my business – Red Oven Creations and it’s growth; my family – immediate (husband, Stan, and daughter) as well as my parents and siblings (I’m the second of four (2 & 2) and the oldest daughter); my joy in cooking & my entertaining endeavors; my DIY projects, and anything else that is on my mind day-to-day.
I hope that you will follow this exciting journey I call life and comment if you feel like it.
Nice to meet you! I found your blog through From Single to Married. I also am the second of four and the oldest daughter! 😉
Nice to meet you also. With being the oldest daughter do you find yourself being the “second mommy” as well? My mom was/is the best, but I’ve found that my siblings sometimes look to me to “take care of” things, I’m the big coordinator of the group.
