Hey Guys,
I have been trying to get this post out for the past month and I’m going to get it out before the end of the month. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! I hope that you guys had a blessed and wonderful holiday season and are now back on the grind (unfortunately) and living your best lives.
I took some time out from posting to take care of some things at home, but I have noticed there are some new people who are now following Red Oven Creations. Welcome, Welcome…I’m so glad that you are here.
I alluded to some major changes that have happened in my life over the past year and I promise that I’m going to delve into that very soon. One thing I will tell you about is that this is Babydolls last year of high school and the first semester of this school year has been sent getting college applications submitted. Babydoll decided that she was going to apply to 20 Colleges/Universities. That meant 20 colleges to write essays for (and in most cases there were multiple essays for each school). Now I was not writing the essays, that was all Babydoll; but I was consulted for a lot of them. I was taking this time to look for scholarships that could my baby could apply for after the application process was complete. It was a lot! It was a lot of time, it was a lot of money, it was a lot. There were also times where we were traveling to go on college tours. I have walked around seven colleges and none of them was in our home state. If that gives you an idea of the travel that we have done. At one time, Babydoll told one of her Godmothers that, “all I do is go to school, go to work, study, fill out college applications, repeat. That’s my life.” And folks she was not lying. The television shows that we watch together, we caught up during winter break.
Anyway…I’m digressing. I’m excited for this new year and I hope you are too. I’m going to post my 2022 goals soon. I also want to talk about the changes that I have made with my workout and “diet” in my weight loss journey. If you follow me on Instagram, you might know some of this, but I’m going to get the word out to you formally and for those of you who do not follow me.
Again, I hope everyone has been having a great year so far and I can’t wait to talk to you guys soon.
